1. Cancellation before kickoff
You may cancel in writing by email before the confirmed project kickoff. We refund prepaid service fees for work not started, less only documented, non-recoverable third-party costs that you expressly authorised in advance. No project-work cancellation charge applies before kickoff. Kickoff is the agreed, communicated start of substantive work, not simply the date of an enquiry or payment.
2. Cancellation after kickoff
After kickoff, we provide an itemised reconciliation of completed work against the agreed milestones and approved third-party commitments. Any unearned prepaid balance is refunded; we do not automatically forfeit the entire deposit. Charges for completed work must reflect the written agreement. Complaints about defective or non-conforming work are assessed separately, and statutory repair, repeat-performance or refund remedies remain available where applicable.
3. Domains, licences and other third-party costs
Domain registrations, activated software licences and other third-party purchases may be non-refundable once ordered, but only to the extent that the supplier will not refund them and you approved the purchase and its cancellation terms in advance. We disclose and document such costs; there is no blanket deduction or extra setup fee for items included in a package. Any supplier recovery is passed back to you. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer remedies.
4. Request and processing time
Send your cancellation or refund request with the project or invoice reference to our official email. We confirm receipt, review eligibility and provide the calculation in writing. Approved refunds are normally processed within 7–14 business days of confirmation, using the original payment method where possible. Bank or payment-provider posting times may vary; we will communicate any delay. This standard timeframe does not override a shorter mandatory legal deadline.
5. Consumer protection
This policy is subject to Qatar Consumer Protection Law No. 8 of 2008 and other mandatory Qatari laws. It does not waive rights concerning defective, misdescribed or undelivered services. If a contract or this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer protections, those protections prevail. You may raise a complaint with MOCI or seek relief through the competent Qatar courts.
Contact & complaints
For policy questions, requests or complaints, contact us with your project reference. This does not limit your right to contact MOCI or the competent Qatari authority.
