1. Data we collect and why
Madani Media Portal L.L.C. is responsible for personal data it processes for enquiries and service delivery. We collect the name, email address, phone number, message and project information you choose to provide, together with contract and billing records when you become a client. Hosting providers may process IP addresses and technical request logs for security and site delivery. We use necessary data to respond, prepare quotations, perform contracts and meet legal obligations. Optional marketing requires separate consent, which you may withdraw.
2. Contact form and third-party services
The contact form prepares your details in a WhatsApp message and opens WhatsApp; it does not save submissions in a website database. You decide whether to send the message. WhatsApp/Meta processes sent messages under its own privacy terms. You may instead contact us by email or telephone. External social links are subject to their providers’ policies. Service providers such as hosting, email and domain suppliers receive only information needed for the agreed service; we do not sell personal data. Where processing occurs outside Qatar, applicable legal safeguards must be assessed before the transfer.
3. Storage, encryption and retention
Our security requirements include HTTPS encryption in transit, restricted access, and encrypted hosting storage and backups wherever personal data is retained. Encryption at rest depends on the hosting, email and other providers and must be verified for each service; this website code alone does not establish that all provider storage is encrypted or located in Qatar. We retain data only as needed for the stated purpose, legal recordkeeping or resolving disputes, then securely delete or anonymise it, subject to lawful retention requirements. 4. Cookies and similar technologies
The current website does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies, and the language is selected by the page URL. Hosting or security services may use strictly necessary technologies for delivery and protection. External websites may set their own cookies after you follow a link. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, we will explain their purpose and seek consent before activation where required; you will be able to refuse or withdraw consent. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies.
5. Your rights under Law No. 13 of 2016
Under Qatar’s Personal Data Privacy Protection Law No. 13 of 2016, and subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, you may request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure of data no longer lawfully needed, and withdrawal of consent or objection to relevant processing. Email us with your request; we may need proportionate identity verification and will explain any lawful reason preventing full action. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. You may complain to the competent Qatari data protection authority without first contacting us.
